The European Business Circle presented a new publication by and in memory of its associate and friend Dr. Jens-Wilhelm Wessels. The academic research entitled 'Economic Policy and Microeconomic Performance in Inter-War Europe. The Case of Austria, 1918-1938’ examines the interdependence and interaction of economics and politics: to what extent does and can macro-economic policy determine micro-economic performance and, conversely, how much is economic policy influenced and contrained by intrinsic economic elements?
