Dr. Christian L. Glossner
is the Chairman of the European Business Circle (EuBC). He is also Managing Partner of the human capital agency, business development consultancy and M&A advisory Congentis AG.
He is founder and investor of various ventures for which he received the UK KickStart Award and became a finalist in the INTEL Challenge in 2010. Beyond, he acts as a business angel for innovative and entrepreneurial start-ups; in this capacity, he is a member of the ISIS Innovation Angel Network of the University of Oxford where he lectures in Political Economy. He published widely and his most prominent publication is The Making of the German Post-War Economy (IBTauris, 2010/2012).
Previously, Christian held a Europaeum Research Fellowship at the Institut Universitaire de Hautes Études Internationales (HEI) in Geneva and worked for various management consultancies, industrial corporations and public sector institutions, including the Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs (ECFIN) of the European Commission in Brussels. He studied economics and finance at the London Business School (LBS) and the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and graduated from the University of Fribourg as well as the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE); he received his D.Phil. (PhD) from the University of Oxford. Recently, he was nominated as Ambassador of the IdeaLab! Founders' Conference of the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and awarded as Responsible Leader and member of the Impact Circle by the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt.
Dr. Igor Horn
is the Vice-Chairman of the European Business Circle (EuBC). He is also Managing Director of the Dr. Horn & Eimer – a vehicle for managing investments into selected business models and start-ups. Igor still advises primarily Financial Services Industry on Risk Management, Performance Measurement and Regulatory Issues as well as on M&A transactions. He gained his experience working with Roland Berger Strategy Consultancy and Accenture specializing in Financial Services and Restructuring. Igor also served as a Head of Risk/Return Steering in a Mid-Sized Retail Bank supervising Financial and Risk Controlling as well as Bank Steering Business Units. He studied Economics, Law and Physics and obtained his doctorate degree from the University of Bonn. During his studies and work, he gained a vast international experience in Europe, Asia and North America.
Mr Andreas V. Wandinger
is the Treasurer of the European Business Circle (EuBC). He works as Specialist in Accounting & Reporting for Roche Diagnostics International in Rotkreuz (Switzerland) after spending many years working as Senior Consultant for Detecon (Schweiz) AG in Zurich, specializing in Financial Management and Compliance. Before he came to Switzerland he was working for BMW in Munich and KPMG in Essen. Andreas graduated in Sports and Business Administration at the University of Bayreuth (Germany) and received an M.Sc. from Chester College (UK).
